My Shadows' primary defense is evasion, btw, with life supports as well. So if I remove it, I fall back to +60% projectile speed and EK won't be long range anymore. But the lion's share of this benefit (99 of that 159) is coming from Quill Rain. Coupled with the Karui Ward amulet (+30% proj speed) and a Faster projectiles gem, my character currently has 159% increased projectile speed, which is enough to reach the very edge of the screen with EK.
